Flower Arranging Workshop

This workshop will be held on

TUESDAY 20th AUGUST at Ibsley Village Hall

 2pm – 4pm

The charge will be £2 to cover the cost of Hall hire. Oasis and containers may be purchased from Sue Hooper who will be leading this session again.

The theme will be as in the 2019 Annual Show Schedule (ensure you have one and bring it) as this explains fully the title and sizes of classes for entrants. In particular we will learn about the following, but concentrate on the Novice Class

          Class no 48 “A named song title “    20” x 20 “. height unlimited.

          Class no 49 “A named nursery rhyme” 10” x 10” height unlimited

Class no 50 “A mix of coloured foliage” 15”x 15” height unlimited

Class no 52 Novice class.” Happy Anniversary” 10” x 10” height unlimited

You will need to bring:

Towel or polythene to protect the table, scissors or knife

Oasis and a container of your own, appropriate to the class.(or this can be purchased )

Flowers and foliage, again appropriate to the title of the arrangement (Think of what colours to use, and which will be complementary with each other.)

This will be a fun afternoon and we would like to believe that following this workshop many of the attendees will have the confidence, knowledge and skills to take part in the Annual Show on Saturday September 14th (book it in your diary now!)

A future workshop will be held on Tuesday December 3rd (details to follow) with Christmas decorations in mind.

Tear here and hand in to Sue Hooper on  front desk
