Trip to

CERNE ABBAS OPEN GARDENS DT2 7GD
SUNDAY JUNE 16TH 2019

Cerne Abbas village, near Dorchester, is opening their gardens for charity from 2pm until 6pm.. They are expecting 25 places to visit and all are within walking distance of the free car park (post code DT2 7GD) which opens at 11am.

Teas will be served from 1.30pm at St Mary’s Church..

The village has a good reputation for their gardens and it should be a great opportunity to gain ideas for your own garden, or just to enjoy the hard work of others. They will also have a well stocked plant stall (just in case you are not fully stocked from our plant sale!)

Entrance cost £5 day ticket (money raised to be shared between Weldmar Hospicecare Trust  and Cerne Watermeadow Trust). This reduced cost is because of a club subsidy and a discounted price as we are a group

Travel is by sharing member’s cars departing and returning to the Village Hall– payment and return time by individual negotiation

Meet at Ibsley Village Hall at 12.45pm, or if you are going direct at 2pm at their free car park. (DT2 7GD). We must meet and then get our tickets as a group to get the discounted price. Maps will be provided for those driving from Ibsley Village Hall.

Booking forms will be available at the plant sale on Sat 11th May and also at next month's meeting ( 30th May.)  A copy is also posted on this web page.

Please inform the Trip Secretary (Sue Hooper) on the form, whether you intend to go there direct and meet at the free car park.(post code above)

We must receive all completed booking forms together with  payment by 30th May latest.

Please note that you are NOT BOOKED as going until you have given this form to the trip secretary and paid.

Cancellation  - whilst cancellation is not expected, if you have any doubts please ring or email the Trips Sec ( Sue Hooper) , Chair ( Alleyn Wilson) or Speaker Sec ( Bren Ings). All tel numbers and email addresses are on your 2019 membership card. This will be YOUR responsibility and members of the committee will NOT be able ring you. Refunds are only payable at the discretion of the committee and by application in writing to them.

We recognise that this only gives you only one meeting to return your form and pay (only £5 - a price which is subsidised by your club and for which we get a group discount).
