Hello everyone, hopefully you all had a good Christmas and new year and are ready to get out into the garden ready for 2020! Don't forget if you are out splitting plants and have spare you cannot use, pot them up and keep them for the plant sale in May.
Our next meeting is on Thursday 30th January 7.30 pm Ibsley Village HallOur speaker is Martin Stewart of Stewarts Garden Centres and he will be providing a short talk on how Stewarts evolved followed by our delayed Christmas Social!Also at the meeting:
- Enter the members competitions so remember to bring your entries
- You will be able to join the club for £6 and pick up your new membership cards
- We will be awarding the cups for the winners of the 2019 members competition
- There will be no raffle this month due to the social.
Timely reminder for our first trip for 2020, we are off to Minterne House and gardens on April 26th so look for the sign up sheet for this in February.Ringwood Garden Club has let us know that they are having Pip Bensley to their meeting on Thursday February 20th at 7.30pm in Greyfriars Community Centre on" Chelsea Flower Show Secrets". The cost is £3. Pip worked with Andy McIndoe at Hilliers and the Chelsea team and also appears on Radio Solent.Finally don't forget our seed swap at our March meeting as you begin planting out your seeds.Hopefully we will see lots of you on ThursdayYour Committee
